It’s been about five days since 24-year old Dustin Johnson coughed up an 82 after being the 54-hole leader at the United States Open at Pebble Beach. I waited five days to touch on it for a reason. Because I guarantee you that, in every waking hour since his melt-down, Johnson has thought about it. Some hours, he thought about it a lot. We got a sneak preview of another of Tiger Woods’ stumbles (I refuse to refer to them as steps) towards winning back golf fans with the revelation that he’ll be speaking with the media on Monday, April 5th at Augusta.
